Melissa Miller

Melissa is a Los Angeles based actor with roots in New York City. She brings over two decades of experience in theater, film, and television. Known for her grounded presence and emotional depth, she brings honesty and complexity to every role.

my acting journey

Acting has been a throughline and unending passion  in my life—but my relationship to it has changed.

After over 20 years in the industry, I stepped away for a time to reconnect with myself, my voice, and what it means to be an artist. I return now not with something to prove, but with something to share.

What I’ve found is a deeper truth: I still love acting and performing—not for the hustle, but for the honesty.
For the chance to drop into something real.
I return with new clarity, more integrity, and more of me.

My work now is rooted in presence and depth.
And the belief I still hold in the magic and transformative power of storytelling.

Reviews

“What makes it pop, when it does, are the performances. ... And Melissa Miller, the production’s secret weapon, deftly switches gears and covers her tracks…alternating as a cheeky British saleswoman, an impertinent 14-year-old and an Old World Jewish immigrant."

“Heart of the City” Andy Webster, New York Times
